B.Sc. I.T. Department

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSc.IT) is a under graduation 3 years (Six Semester) degree course. The Department fulfill as its dream of inculcating group dynamics, human skills and employable skills in the students by conducting different events. It promotes research habits amongst undergraduate students and updates them on the recent trends of IT.

It enhances the employability skill by conducting Add-on Courses and Bridge Courses to bridge the gap between the syllabus and the industry requirements. It encourages.

Admission to the course is offered on the basis of the University of Mumbai.

Objectives:

To give affordable IT education to our rural area students.
To provide adequate basic understanding about the field. Give an adequate exposure and to prepare student to exploit opportunities being newly created in the field of IT.
To give additional avenue of self employment and also to benefit surrounding industries by providing them suitable trained person.
To initiate holistic development of student to meet and match the challenging takes ahead of them.
To develop IT professionals in rural area.

Students Achievement : Ankur Patil of SY B.Sc.IT attended a 7 days online workshop on CPP Programming, Core Python, basic programming conducted by Kavedia Sir through Youtube. Sushil Dhangar of SY B.Sc.IT completed a Python Programming course held on Youtube channel Kavedia Sir. Sahara Patel of SY B.Sc.IT completed a Python Programming course held on Youtube channel Kavedia Sir. Usha Nagar of SY B.Sc.IT completed C programming and Java held on Youtube channel Kavedia Sir. Ankita More and Mayuri Gaikwad of TY B.Sc.IT attended an online course on Career Edge -Knockdown the Lockdown by TCS iON. Ankita More attended an online course on Fundamentals of Digital Marketing but Google digital unlocked. Sushil Dhangar of SY B.Sc.IT worked with Resilient Foundation and helped in managing the funds distribution and food distribution to over 17000 people per day. He also worked with the local community to help spread awareness about the CoronaVirus Pandemic and helped in creating posters regarding the safety measures to be followed.

B.Sc. IT Events

Window of Opportunity for eternal growth during Corona Pandemic B.Sc.It department organised a webinar on the topic “ Window of Opportunity for eternal growth during Corona Pandemic” on 27th June 2020. Mr.Sandeep Bhalerao was the resource person for this webinar. He explained the various methods of making use of the time in a useful manner during the lockdown. He also spoke about the different activities and initiatives we could do to improve ourselves for our betterment.

App Development Training Program B.Sc.IT department organised a Two day App development program on 18th May 2020. Mr.Sanil Thayyal was the resource person for this event. It was an online session and participants were admitted by first come basis after filling out the online registration form.The App development program was a video based session with recorded videos shared through Whatsapp group to the participants. After the 2 day session the participants attempted an online quiz. All participants who cleared the quiz received an E-certificate.

Teachers Day Celebration The students of B.Sc.IT department organised a Teachers Day Celebration on 5th September 2020. The celebration was an online event conducted through Zoom. The Second year and Third year students conducted the event to thank and show their appreciation to the Department staff.

Orientation Program for First year students B.Sc.It department organised an Orientation program on 21st September 2020 for the new joined First year students. All the staff of B.Sc.IT department were introduced to the new students. The students also introduced themselves to each other in the orientation session.A brief intro of the subjects were also given to the students.

Freshers Party The students of B.Sc.It department organised a Freshers Party on 24th October 2020. The celebration was an online event conducted through Zoom. The Second year and Third year students conducted the event to welcome the first year students. Several fun games like Movie quiz, Dumbcharades, Anthakshari were conducted for the students.

Webinar on “Exploration of AI” B.Sc. It department organised a webinar on the topic “Exploration of AI” on 29th January 2021. Mr.Chintak Sheth was the resource person for this event. It was an online session conducted via Zoom.All the staff and students of B.Sc.It department participated in this webinar.Some students of BMS department also attended the webinar.
